- 1 tbsp, heaped almond flour
- 2 tbsp, heaped wheat flour
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 20 g butter
- 1 slice(s) pineapple
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Flatten the turkey schnitzel between cling film and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Place half a slice of Gouda cheese on the schnitzel, then a slice of cooked ham, and finally another half slice of Gouda cheese on top. Fold the turkey schnitzel over and secure with roulade pins or toothpicks. Beat the egg until frothy and mix the breadcrumbs with the almond flour. Create a breading track from the wheat flour, egg, and almond flour mixture. Heat a pan with the sunflower oil and butter. Roll the schnitzel first in the wheat flour, then in the egg and then in the almond flour mixture, and fry in the pan until golden brown on all sides. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Top the cooked schnitzel with a slice of pineapple and the remaining slice of cheese and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes.
