Turkey meat in coconut chili sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 300 g turkey or pork
  • Chili sauce (Sriracha with garlic)
  • 1 cup basmati
  • 1 can of tangerine(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil (peanut oil)
  • 5 leaves of basil (Thai basil)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Prepare the rice according to the package instructions. Cut the meat into thin strips and sear them in a little oil in a wok. Add the coconut milk, simmer gently for a few minutes, and season with salt and chili sauce. Tip: Season a little more spicy than desired; the mandarin oranges add a sweeter touch. Just before serving, add the Thai basil and drained mandarin oranges, heat through, and serve immediately with the rice.
