Turkey meatballs with tomato, yogurt, curry sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey schnitzel
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • some breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • some mustard
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • curry powder
  • chili powder
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 300 g yogurt 10% fat
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roughly chop the turkey cutlets and mince them in a blender. Mix with salt, pepper, mustard, onion, egg, and breadcrumbs. Form them into about 12 small patties and fry them in a little oil until golden brown on both sides. For the sauce, press the garlic and sauté it in a little oil. Add the tomatoes and yogurt and bring to a boil. Season well with salt, pepper, curry, and chili, and reduce slightly. Basmati rice, for example, is a good side dish.
