Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 large turkey schnitzels
- ½ can corn kernels
- 100 g cream
- 100 g cheese (grated Emmental)
- 3 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 cup(s) chicken broth
- Salt
- pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Wash the schnitzel, pat dry, and cut each into roughly thirds. Season with salt and pepper. Fry in a pan until browned. Remove from the pan and place in a casserole dish. Brown the diced onion in the frying fat, then deglaze with chicken broth. Pour the liquid over the schnitzel. Prepare a mixture of cheese, cream cheese, and cornstarch; spread the mixture over the schnitzel. Season everything again with salt, pepper, and paprika and pour over the cream. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 150-180°C, plus a grill (if available). Serve with mashed potatoes.
