Turkey schnitzel filled with wild garlic and cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large turkey cutlets, thin
  • 4 tbsp herb cream cheese
  • ½ bunch wild garlic, chopped
  • 100 g mozzarella, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Oil or clarified butter or margarine for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pat the schnitzels dry and flatten them. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. Spread each schnitzel with 1 tablespoon of cream cheese and sprinkle with wild garlic and cheese. Fold over and press the edges firmly together. Fry in a pan with fat until cooked through. Serve with rice and tomato sauce, for example.
