Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g tomatoes
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp thyme
- 2 slices of turkey schnitzel
- 90 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp herbs, dried Italian
- 1 egg(s)
- 5 tbsp flour
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Cut the tomatoes into eighths and remove the seeds. Cut the onion into thin wedges. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the onion for about 4 minutes over medium heat. Add the tomatoes and 2 tablespoons of thyme leaves and sauté for another 3-4 minutes, then season generously with salt and pepper. Mix the breadcrumbs with the Italian herbs. Season the turkey cutlets with salt and pepper. Dip first in the egg, then in the flour, and then in the breadcrumbs. Heat 6 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the turkey cutlets for 3 minutes on each side until crispy. Serve the meat with the tomatoes.
