Turkey schnitzel with apples in curry cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey breast
  • salt and pepper
  • ¼ ml cream
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 2 apples (Boskop or similar)
  • 100 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Cut the meat into slices about 1 cm thick and season lightly with pepper and salt. Sear on both sides and place in a casserole dish. Deglaze the pan with cream, add tomato paste and curry powder, and season well to taste. Peel, core, and slice the apples. Place them on top of the meat slices and pour over the sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes.
