Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 steak(s) (turkey steaks) or turkey breast
- salt and pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- curry powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g vegetable onion(s), cut into rings
- 2 bell peppers, diced
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 8 tbsp vegetable broth or white wine
- 2 tbsp cream cheese (0.1% fat)
- 1 tsp oregano, dried
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 1 bag(s) of rice (RisiBisi for the microwave), if necessary
Instructions

Wash the turkey steaks, pat dry, and season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and curry powder. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the steaks until cooked through on both sides. Remove from the pan and keep warm in the oven at 50°C (top/bottom heat). Peel and thinly slice the onions, dice the bell peppers, and braise them in the remaining frying fat. Add the tomato paste, vegetable stock, and cream cheese and simmer for about 4 minutes. Season with dried oregano and season with salt, pepper, and curry powder. Finally, wash and dry the tomatoes, remove the stems, dice them, and add them to the vegetable pan. Let them simmer briefly. Serve the vegetables with the turkey steaks and the rice, prepared according to the package instructions, if desired.
