Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 package of dough (Baklava Yufka dough or filo dough), approx. 480 g
- 3 eggs
- 1 jar sunflower oil (approx. 200 ml)
- 1 jar yogurt
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 jar water
- 1 jar sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
First, fold the spread-out yufka dough like a fan and place it in a baking dish or ovenproof dish. The dough shouldn’t lie on top of each other; the gathered pieces should lie next to each other. Then place the whole thing in the oven at 170°C for about 10 minutes until the dough begins to take on a light brown color, then remove it. In the meantime, mix the eggs, oil, yogurt, baking powder, and vanilla sugar until smooth and pour it evenly over the dough. Then bake in the oven at 170°C until it turns a nice brown color. Remove from the oven and let it cool. At the same time, bring the water and sugar to a boil, let it cool, and spread it evenly over the finished dough. A very delicious dessert. If you like it a little sweeter, you can increase the amount of sugar. But be careful, otherwise it will taste like sugar. The recipe is designed for 6-8 people, but we usually only make 3-4 because everyone goes crazy for it.
