Tavada lahmacun
All ingredients are chopped and mixed together in a food processor. You can either have the lamb belly bacon put through the meat grinder with the minced meat at the butcher’s or cut it very finely and add it to the pizza. You can see how to prepare the filling here: Turkish Pizza (Lahmacun) (original as in Pide salonu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgqAzg6cRlo) For the dough: Mix all ingredients together, knead into a yeast dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. You can form small balls from the dough and roll them out to the size of a cake plate. Now you can add a large tablespoon of the filling to each one and spread it out with a fork. Preheat a non-stick pan on the stove, then bake the Turkish pizza on medium heat, covered with a lid. It is important that you bake the Turkish pizza with the lid closed, otherwise the minced meat will not cook. Have fun baking it.
