Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 2 large onions
- 1 bulb(s) of turmeric
- 1 piece(s) ginger
- 2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 kg minced turkey
- 1 pinch of salt
- some pepper
- 1 tbsp mustard, hot
- some herbs, mixed
- some butter, salted
- some rosemary
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- some bread(s) (grain bread)
- some cream, semi-skimmed
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Finely dice the onions, turmeric, ginger, and garlic. Place the ground turkey in a bowl and let the bread soak in water (2 minutes). Add the turmeric powder and the diced ingredients to the bowl with the ground turkey. Squeeze the bread dry and add it. Stir in the pepper, salt, rosemary, and mixed herbs. Mix everything together with your hands. Grease a pan with salted butter. Form the ground turkey into egg-sized balls and fry over medium heat. When golden brown, add a little water and stir in the mustard. Cook the meatballs in the broth and finish with cream. Sweet potato chips and vegetables of your choice are ideal side dishes.
