hearty and delicious
Grease a baking dish with butter and line it with the cooked and raw ham. Sprinkle the ham layer generously with Parmesan cheese. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in the pan. Thinly slice the pork fillet, season with salt and pepper, and sear briefly on each side. Place the fillet and onions in the lined baking dish. Chop the tomatoes and layer them on top of the meat along with the mushrooms. Sprinkle with thyme, sage, and rosemary, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Mix the sweet and sour cream together, adding enough tomato ketchup to make the sauce pink. Mix with the garlic and parsley, and pour the sauce over all the ingredients in the baking dish. Finally, sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese (more than the recipe calls for, if you like). Bake in the oven at 200°C for 1 hour. If you like, you can sprinkle more melted cheese on top 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time and then finish baking. Serve with fresh baguette.
