Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 50 g bacon, fat, finely diced
  • 4 sausages (grilled sausages), approx. 100 g each
  • 250 g minced meat, half/half
  • 1 onion(s) (finely diced)
  • 200 g bell pepper, cut into strips (frozen)
  • 200 g mushrooms (thinly sliced)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, peeled (drained weight 240g)
  • 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed (500g)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • Chili sauce, hot (from the Thai/Chinese shop)
  • 1 tsp butter

Fry the bacon and diced onions until translucent. Add the sliced ​​grilled sausages and brown lightly. Then add the minced meat and fry until crumbly, stirring constantly. Then add the strips of bell pepper (frozen) and the sliced ​​mushrooms, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the peeled tomatoes and the passata. Roughly chop the tomatoes with a spatula. Squeeze the garlic cloves and add them. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Season to taste with salt, pepper, hot paprika, and the hot chili sauce (use the chili sauce carefully). Finish with a knob of butter. Serve with pasta, rice, or a baguette and a nice salad.
