delicious, quick-to-prepare oatmeal cookies

Melt the butter in a pan, add the oats, and mix well. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly. Beat the egg whites with the sugar until stiff, then stir in the egg yolks, baking powder, and flour. Mix the mixture with the cooled oats. Using 2 teaspoons, place small heaps of dough on a baking sheet. Don’t overdo it, as the dough will spread slightly during baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 15 minutes. The cookies will be a little soft at first, but once they cool, they’ll become nice and crispy. It’s best to store them in a tin after cooling to prevent them from becoming soft again.
