Mozzarella, garlic, Gouda and you have a treat for the evening

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. In a bowl, mix the garlic, Gouda, mozzarella, butter, and herbs with a fork, then mix everything well with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and paprika. The softened butter helps it hold together better. Set aside. Cut the baguettes into slices about 2.5 cm wide and hollow them out with a teaspoon. There should always be a base and a border of about 5 mm around the edges. Spread the cheese mixture in and on the bread slices with a fork. Place in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Please check the instructions for your oven. Tips: If you like it spicy, you can mix fresh chili into the cheese mixture. There’s no need to throw away the scooped-out baguette crumbs; freeze them and use them for the next time you bake with a mustard crust. It works wonderfully.
