Tyrolean wine noodles

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g semolina
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 eggs
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • n. B. mulled wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Simple but incredibly delicious dessert

Salt the milk and bring to a boil. Slowly add the semolina, stirring until it forms a firm paste. Let it cool. Stir in the egg yolks one at a time, stirring well. Form the noodles into thumb-thick, long shapes, coat them in the beaten eggs and breadcrumbs, and fry them in shortening. Serve the drained, hot noodles in bowls and pour over hot, but not too strong, mulled wine. For children, pour over hot sugar water or grape juice.
