Unsweetened fruit waffles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g spelt flour
  • 150 g oat flakes
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp, leveled cinnamon powder
  • 1 vanilla flavor
  • 125 g trail mix
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 small jar apple puree with mango
  • 1 apple, chopped
  • 12 prunes
  • 1 jar water
  • 1 oil for the waffle iron

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

makes about 12 waffles

Place the nuts and trail mix in a freezer bag and crush them very finely with a rolling pin. Combine the flour, oats, and nut mixture in a mixing bowl. Chop the fruit into small pieces and add it. Add all the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix with a hand mixer. Add the water to the batter until creamy but not too stiff, carefully adding more water if necessary. Brush the waffle iron with a thin layer of oil and bake the waffles over medium heat until golden brown.
