Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 potatoes
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp caraway powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 40 ml vegetable oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Meatballs made from minced meat and grated potatoes

Boil the potatoes, peel them, and grate them or press them through a potato ricer. Finely dice the onion. Mix both with the minced meat, add the mustard and caraway seeds, mix well, and season generously with salt and pepper. Form into dumplings and fry on both sides in hot vegetable oil.
