Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 750 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs (egg whites for the egg whites)
  • 3 tsp cornstarch, (Mondamin) heaped
  • 3 tbsp sugar, (more if needed)
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a batter from butter, sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, and lemon juice and pour it into a greased springform pan. The batter will be quite runny and simply needs to be spread over the base. Next, make the quark mixture and finally fold in the beaten egg whites. Spread it over the batter and bake in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius for about 75 minutes. The cake will turn over while baking.
