Vanilla – Apple – Dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 700 ml milk
  • 3 vanilla pods
  • 70 g cornstarch
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 80 g sugar
  • 600 ml natural yogurt
  • 60 g biscuits (butter biscuits)
  • 40 g cookie(s) (Oreo)
  • 2 apples
  • 6 nectarines
  • e.g. cream (spray cream)
  • e.g. blueberries

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Whisk together the milk, sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolks. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla pods and stir them into the milk mixture. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly, but do not let it boil, or the egg will curdle. When the mixture begins to thicken slightly, turn off the heat completely and transfer the pudding to a bowl or dish. Tip: For an even more intense vanilla flavor, heat the vanilla pods in the milk and remove them just before serving. Crush the biscuits (e.g., in a bag) into crumbs. Peel, core, slice, and finely grate the apples. Place both in a bowl and mix well with the yogurt. Pit and roughly chop the nectarines, then puree them in a blender. Layer the mixture into glasses and decorate with whipped cream and blueberries.
