Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g dark chocolate coating
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 50 g sugar, white
  • 100 g sugar, brown
  • 2 vanilla pods
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g flour
  • 75 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Roughly chop the chocolate coating. Cream the butter with both sugars until fluffy, then stir in the vanilla bean seeds and egg. Mix the flour, baking powder, and hazelnuts and add. Finally, fold in the chopped chocolate coating. Scoop small portions of dough with two teaspoons, place them well apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and flatten them slightly. Bake the vanilla cookies for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the sheet rest for another 5 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack and let cool slightly. They taste best lukewarm.
