Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g almond(s), ground
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar (Bourbon vanilla)
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Quickly knead the flour, almonds, sugar, and butter into a shortcrust pastry. Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for at least an hour. Form the dough into thumb-thick rolls and cut off approximately 2 cm wide pieces. Roll out each piece again until it is 5 cm long and thinner at the ends. Gently bend the pieces to form crescents. Bake at 200°C on the middle shelf of the oven for about 12 minutes. Mix the vanilla sugar and sifted powdered sugar and roll the still-warm cookies in it.
