Vanilla Muffins with Chocolate Buttercream
The perfect vanilla muffins with chocolate buttercream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 115 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 90 g Sugar
- 25 g Vanilla sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 140 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 0,5 Chocolate buttercream or quick buttercream with chocolate pudding powder, see KB
- Sugar sprinkles
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Mix the butter, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in eggs. Sieve in the flour and baking powder and stir in.
- Pour the batter into a muffin tin lined with paper liners. (Actually it should be 12 … but it was only enough for 11: D)
- Bake for 20 minutes, then allow to cool.
- In the meantime, prepare the buttercream. Recipe: Cake Kit – Chocolate Buttercream or: Cake Kit – Quick Simple Buttercream
- Cut the cooled muffins a little straight at the top. Pour the buttercream into a piping bag and sprinkle tuffs on the muffins. Garnish with sugar sprinkles.
- Chill until ready to eat.
