Vanilla Oreo Biscuit Ice Cream
The perfect vanilla oreo biscuit ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 size Eggs
- 100 g Cane sugar
- 450 ml Cream
- 220 ml Milk
- 1 go. tsp Vanilla flavor
- 4 Oreo cookies
- Whip the cream until stiff.
- Heat a saucepan in a water bath (but then take it off the stove, otherwise it will get too hot and the eggs will curdle immediately). First beat the eggs into a cup and then slide them into the pot (still in the water bath) while the hand mixer is already running. Always stir. Until the mixture is white and frothy. Then, while continuing to stir, let the sugar trickle in and keep stirring until the mixture shines and the sugar has completely dissolved. This can take 5 minutes.
- Take the pot out of the water bath and stir until it has cooled down to room temperature.
- Then whisk the vanilla aroma with the milk and add to the egg and sugar mixture together with the whipped cream and fold in.
Preparation without an ice cream machine:
- If you want to prepare the ice cream without an ice cream machine, pour the mixture into a cold-resistant container and place it in the freezer. You have to stir everything well about every 45 minutes.
- When it starts to get a firmer consistency, fold in the oreo biscuits that have been crumbled well beforehand and continue as before. You can determine the firmness yourself by deciding while stirring whether you like the consistency or just let it stay longer in the freezer. Preparation with an ice cream machine:
- Put the mixture in the machine and – depending on the manufacturer’s instructions – cook in it for approx. 40 minutes.
- Here, too, the rule applies to only add the desired ingredients when the ice cream has reached a firmer consistency. For the machine, this is approx. 2 – 3 minutes before the end of the time entered. The ingredients are then allowed to slide through the filling opening while the machine is running and stir for the last few minutes until it switches off by itself.
- M & M’s, chopped chocolate, fresh berries, nuts, etc. can also be used as ingredients.
- If you like it pure, you just leave everything out and have a vanilla ice cream, which comes very close to the inside of the MAGNUM.
