Vanilla quark cream with strawberry sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 200 g yogurt 1.5% fat
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of cream stiffener
  • 300 g strawberries
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Wash the strawberries, remove the leaves, and roughly dice them. Place the strawberry cubes in a tall bowl and blend with a squeeze of lemon juice to form a smooth sauce. Sweeten with sugar, if desired. Refrigerate until ready to serve. In a bowl, combine the quark with the yogurt and 50g of sugar. You can reduce the amount of sugar if desired. Whip the cream in a tall bowl with the vanilla sugar and cream stiffener until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the quark and yogurt mixture. Divide the cream between four bowls. Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Before serving, divide the strawberry sauce between the four bowls containing the cream. One fun evening, we named this homemade dessert “Murder on Quark Beet” 🙂
