Vanilla sugar – natural and high-quality

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg sugar, fine refined sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla, ground, from Madagascar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Making high-quality vanilla sugar for little money is child’s play. Thoroughly mix the sugar and vanilla in a large bowl, transfer to a suitable glass container, and seal. The mixture should rest for at least 2 weeks to allow the vanilla flavor to develop. For recipes that call for powdered sugar, you can, of course, also make it with powdered sugar. To do this, use 1 kg of sifted powdered sugar instead of the sugar listed above. Madagascan vanilla has a very special aroma—a truly worthwhile investment. I replace 10-20% of the specified sugar in all recipes with this mixture. Especially recommended for homemade ice cream, milkshakes, crepes, waffles and cake creams, cupcakes, etc.
