Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 250 g sugar or the equivalent amount of sugar substitute of your choice
- 250 g butter or vegan margarine
- 1 bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring or 1 vanilla pod, the pulp of which
- 1 shot of rum
- 50 g millet flour
- 100 g almonds, ground
- 100 g wholemeal spelt flour
- 250 g spelt flour type 630
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 tsp, leveled baking soda
- 500 ml coconut milk or oat or rice milk
- Fat for the waffle iron
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly with a hand mixer or food processor. Bake in a preheated and well-greased waffle iron until crispy. Using a Belgian waffle iron, I get about 8-10 double waffles. The waffles still taste great when reheated in a toaster the next day.
