Veal Schnitzel with Sweet Potato Fries
The perfect veal schnitzel with sweet potato fries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Veal schnitzel:
- 3 Veal schnitzel approx. 460 g
- 3 Coarse sea salt from the mill
- 3 Colorful pepper from the mill
- 100 g Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Cream
- 150 g Breadcrumbs
- 1 Cup Peanut oil
Sweet potato fries:
- 1 Kg Sweet potatoes
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0,5 tsp Pepper
- 1 arc Parchment paper
Serve:
- 4 Stalk Parsley for garnish
Veal schnitzel:
- Halve the veal schnitzel, season with salt and pepper on both sides, bread (flour, 2 eggs + cooking cream and breadcrumbs) and fry in a pan with plenty of peanut oil (1 cup) on both sides until golden-brown. Finally, fry the rest of the breaded egg, quarter it and distribute it over the schnitzel. Keep warm until serving.
Sweet potato fries:
- Peel the sweet potatoes, cut in half crosswise and cut into French fries. Marinate the sweet potato fries with olive oil (4 tablespoons), salt (1 teaspoon) and pepper (½ teaspoon), place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C for approx. 40 – 45 minutes. Turn once or twice.
Serve:
- Serve veal schnitzel with sweet potatoes, garnished with parsley. A mixed salad goes well with it. For example with Chinese cabbage, radishes, mushrooms, red, green or yellow peppers, seedless grapes, kiwi, mandarins etc.
