Veal Steak Gratinated with Avocado
The perfect veal steak gratinated with avocado recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Veal steak
- 2 piece Fresh avocado
- 0,5 piece Fresh lime
- 2 piece Peeled garlic clove
- 1 small Onion red or white
- 120 g Semi-Hard cheese e.g. Tilsiter surchoix
- Salt
- Pepper
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top heat
- Halve the avocados, remove the stone and remove the pulp with a spoon.
- Add 1/2 to 2/3 lime juice, depending on your taste
- Press the garlic and add it to the avocados
- Puree well with a hand blender. Season the mixture with salt and pepper
- Season the steak about 150 grams and fry briefly in a frying pan for 1 minute on each side.
- Cut the onion into thin rings
- Now place the steaks on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread the avocado mixture over it. Then the cheese on top and finally the onion rings
- Bake everything in the oven preheated with top heat in the upper half of the oven for about 5-8 minutes.
- I had french fries and a salad with it. Pasta, rice or vegetables also go wonderfully well
