Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g veal, shredded
- 2 onions, diced
- 200 g mushrooms, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp flour
- 100 ml wine, white, dry
- 200 ml cream
- 40 g capers, chopped
- 5 anchovy fillets, soaked and finely chopped
- Worcestershire sauce
- Tabasco
- Salt
- pepper
- 1 tbsp clarified butter, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
also with turkey breast, shredded
Briefly fry the strips in clarified butter. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Brown the diced onions in the fat. Add the mushrooms and fry until the liquid evaporates. Now add the chopped garlic cloves and sweat lightly. Dust with flour and deglaze with white wine. Bring to a boil, remove from the heat, and add 200ml of cream. Stir in the chopped capers and chopped anchovy fillets. Season to taste with a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add Tabasco to taste and heat. Heat the strips in the sauce. Serve with tagliatelle or steamed potatoes.
