Vegan and moist brownies

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 200 g chocolate, dark
  • 100 g applesauce
  • 100 ml oil
  • 200 ml plant milk (plant drink)
  • 100 g chocolate chips, dark
  • Fat and cocoa powder for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. For the batter, first combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Then add the melted chocolate, applesauce, plant-based milk, and oil. Mix everything together and pour into a greased 20 x 25 cm (8 x 10 inch) baking dish dusted with cocoa powder. Finally, scatter the chocolate chips on top. Bake the batter in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes (depending on the thickness of the brownies). The brownies taste best when still lukewarm.
