Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g margarine
  • 150 g flour
  • 75 g sugar, white
  • 25 g sugar, brown
  • 1 pack flavoring, natural orange peel flavor
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp applesauce
  • 80 g almonds, chopped, or other nuts if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

makes 10 – 15 cookies

Combine both sugars with soft margarine, orange zest flavoring, and applesauce. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and chopped almonds. Place dough mounds on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180°C for 20-30 minutes. Note: The applesauce works perfectly as an egg substitute.
