Vegan cookies for cutting out

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 200 g butter substitute, room temperature
  • 15 g vanilla sugar
  • 5 g baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

In a large bowl, thoroughly knead the flour, sugar, butter substitute, vanilla sugar, and baking powder with a pinch of salt by hand and form into a ball. Then chill the dough for at least 1 hour, or overnight if possible. Before cutting out the cookies, lightly flour the work surface. Roll out the dough, cut out the cookies, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Then bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 12-15 minutes. I usually make enough dough for 2-3 baking sheets. Tip: After cooling, the cookies can be decorated with dark chocolate, lemon sugar glaze, sprinkles, or nuts of your choice, depending on your preference.
