- A Stollen is a classic bread-shaped cake made from a heavy yeast dough. It can be baked long before Christmas because it tastes particularly good if it is well drawn. Each region has its own recipe. Depending on your needs, a stollen with dried fruit or marzipan is varied. However, the presented recipe is without yeast and without marzipan. It is also vegan, because a delicious vegan Christmas stollen is easy to make yourself and is a festive Christmas cookie. This quick preparation invites you to snack. It tastes particularly lukewarm. Vegan Christmas stollen:
- Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, raisins, chopped almonds, lemon peel, orange peel, zest from the lemon peel, zest from the orange peel and salt well in a bowl.
- Add vegan margarine, vanilla soy yoghurt, baking aroma rum and bitter almond. Knead all ingredients into a dough.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
