Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g sunflower seeds
  • 500 ml water
  • 6 tbsp soy milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 10 minutes

Basic recipe for spreads

Soak sunflower seeds in water overnight. Drain excess water. Add soy milk, lemon juice, and salt, and blend everything until smooth. This is the basic recipe. There are virtually no limits to creativity. Some variations (as a suggestion): – 1 bunch of chives or finely chopped parsley or other herbs, – 1-2 cloves of garlic (blended with the mixture) or finely chopped wild garlic, – Diced tomatoes, some tomato paste, and finely chopped cress, – Finely grated apple and chopped spring onions
