Spread the love

  • 500 g sunflower seeds
  • 2 bags of Bourbon vanilla flavoring
  • 2 tsp, leveled salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 48 minutes

Preheat the oven to 170°C (top/bottom heat). Spread the sunflower seeds on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast the sunflower seeds on the middle rack for about 17 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sunflower seeds should not overcook. Then let them cool. Place them in a high-performance blender with salt and vanilla extract and blend until a puree forms. Note: Please be careful! Not every blender is suitable for nut butter; do not overheat it. The puree is ideal as a spread.
