Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large potatoes, peeled
  • 1 large onion(s), grated or finely chopped
  • 1 large carrot(s), peeled
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp oat flakes
  • some flour, maybe
  • some salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Vegetable burger – Vegetable patty – Mücver

Peel and finely grate the vegetables. Add the onions, eggs, oats, flour, salt, and pepper, and stir well. Let stand for about 5 minutes, adding a little more flour if necessary to prevent the mixture from becoming too runny. Form into patties or burgers and fry in oil. I serve the patties with various sauces or as veggie burgers in hamburger buns. If you omit the eggs, you have a completely vegan dish.
