Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 2 pieces of Bockwurst, sliced
- 300 g Cabanossi, sliced
- 150 g streaky bacon, diced
- 500 g onion(s), peeled, halved, sliced
- 2 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
- 1 red bell pepper(s), cut into bite-sized strips
- 1 green bell pepper(s), cut into bite-sized strips
- 2 tomatoes, peeled, in pieces
- 400 g potatoes, peeled, diced
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 liter meat broth
- 1 small can of corn, drained
- 1 small can of kidney beans, drained
- salt and pepper
- Cayenne pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour
Heat the oil, fry the Cabanossi bacon, onions, and garlic, then add the meat broth. Add the peppers, tomatoes, and potatoes and simmer for 20 minutes. Just before the end of the cooking time, add the beans and corn and season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.
