Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 small shallot(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 rolls (baguette rolls)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • some salt and pepper, mixed (spicy mix)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Halve the baguette rolls and set aside. Wash and deseed the tomatoes, and peel the shallots and garlic clove. Dice the shallots and tomatoes. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan. Lightly toast the baguette rolls in the hot pan. Remove the rolls from the pan and let them cool. Meanwhile, place the diced tomatoes and shallots in a bowl. Grate in the garlic clove, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and stir well. Season with salt. Spread the tomato mixture evenly among the rolls and serve garnished with the mixed pepper.
