Vegetarian Cauliflower Steak
The perfect vegetarian cauliflower steak recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Pc. Cauliflower
- 150 ml Barbecue sauce
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- Salt pepper
- 4 tbsp Parmesan
- Cut the cauliflower into approx. 2 cm thick slices, making sure that it does not fall apart. Rub the slices thickly with barbecue sauce on both sides. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and sprinkle with salt and pepper. If you like, add a little onion powder.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees top / bottom heat for about 30 minutes and turn once in between. Spread the grated Parmesan over the top about 10 minutes before the end of the baking time.
Tips:
- You can prepare the cauliflower steaks in a variety of ways. If you make a marinade yourself, you can use z. Use e.g. olive oil, a little lemon juice, turmeric, paprika powder, salt, pepper and dried herbs.
- The cauliflower steaks are tasty both as a main course and as a side dish.
