Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 eggs
- 50 g sugar
- 200 g flour
- 125 g quark
- 25 g butter, melted
- some sugar for rolling
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
as from the bakery, makes about 20 pieces
Combine the eggs, sugar, flour, quark, and melted butter in a bowl and mix with a dough hook until a stiff dough forms. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 175°C. Using two teaspoons or an ice cream scoop, scoop out small portions of dough and drop them into the fryer. Dip the teaspoon or ice cream scoop into the hot oil beforehand to prevent the dough from sticking. Don’t forget to flip them occasionally, as the balls will float to the surface. Taste a ball to see if it’s cooked through; fry for a while longer if necessary. Then roll the balls in sugar.
