Veggie Egg – Easter breakfast snack

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pre-baked roll (spelt roll or fitness roll)
  • 2 tbsp light cream cheese
  • 2 tsp mustard, hot
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled (Easter eggs)
  • 2 slice(s) cucumber(s)
  • 2 pinch(s) salt and pepper
  • possibly chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Unusual – delicious for breakfast or as a snack

Remove the shells from the Easter eggs and slice them evenly using a knife or egg slicer. Halve the warmed spelt roll and spread a thick layer of cream cheese on each half. Add a teaspoon of hot mustard to each half and spread evenly. Place the prepared egg slices on top. Cut the cucumber slices into strips and place them on the Easter egg roll. Season with salt and a little pepper—fresh chives also go well. Bite in and enjoy!
