Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 50 g Turkish yogurt
- 2 eggs
- 200 g hazelnuts, ground
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- some lemon zest, untreated
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Perisan Kurabiye, Turkish, non-alcoholic
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Mix all ingredients with a mixer and place small heaps of the mixture onto the baking sheet, using a teaspoon at a time, spaced a few inches apart until all the batter is used up. Bake the cookies in the oven at 175°C for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Remove the cookies and let them cool on a wire rack.
