  • 1 pack of frozen puff pastry on a roll
  • 18 sour cherries, from the jar, pitted
  • 1 cup sour cream, 200 g
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp honey (flower honey)
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Thaw the puff pastry and roll it out on the counter. Cut 6-8 squares from the dough. Meanwhile, drain the sour cherries well. Mix the sour cream with the egg, honey, and vanilla sugar until smooth. Place a dollop of the sour cream mixture in the center of each dough square and place 2-3 sour cherries on top. Brush the edges of the squares with a little water and fold the squares together to form a triangle. Press the edges together all around with the tines of a fork. Place the parcels on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with the beaten egg yolk. Bake the parcels in a preheated oven at approximately 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown. After baking, let the parcels cool on a wire rack.
