Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 peppers
  • 2 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 150 ml cream or Cremefine
  • 1 tsp potato flour
  • Water
  • 4 Vienna sausages
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Paprika powder, sweet
  • e.g. chili powder

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Dice the onion, bell peppers, and tomatoes, press or chop the garlic, and crumble the feta cheese. Sauté the onion and bell peppers in the butter, then add the tomatoes and garlic. Season to taste. Pour in the cream and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Mix the potato flour with a little water and stir in, then remove from the heat and sprinkle with the feta cheese. Place the Vienna sausages flat next to each other in a baking dish and pour the vegetable and cheese sauce over them. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes with fan-assisted heat, depending on how melted you want the cheese. Serve with rice or simply with baguette.
