Wakame Seaweed Salad with Lime and Cucumber

The perfect wakame seaweed salad with lime and cucumber recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 60 g Dried wakame algae (cut into fine strips with scissors)
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 4 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • 4 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp (Gehäufte) frisch geriebener Ingwer
  • 1 tsp Whole cane sugar
  • 1 Clove of garlic (pressed)
  • 0,5 tsp Chili powder
  • 3 tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp (Gehäufte) Sesamsamen
  1. Fill the wakame algae strips in a bowl with lukewarm water just enough to just cover the algae. Let soak for 20 minutes. Pour off the soaking water and gently squeeze out the wakame.
  2. Cut the unpeeled cucumber into fine sticks. Lightly rust the sesame seeds dry.
  3. Mix all ingredients (except for the seaweed, cucumber and sesame seeds) in a bowl.
  4. Fold the seaweed and cucumber into the sauce and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. For an optimal taste 15 min. !! let go.
