Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Breakfast
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Roughly chop the walnuts and place them in a large bowl. Add the oats, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and coconut flakes. If desired, you can also add a pinch of salt. Gently heat the oil in a saucepan, add the honey and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. You can also use just honey or just brown sugar, or use maple syrup and agave syrup instead. Pour the sugar-oil mixture into the bowl with the remaining ingredients and stir well. Spread the finished mixture thinly on the baking paper and place it in the oven for about 10 minutes. Then mix again and place it back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Depending on your taste, you can leave it in the oven a little longer. Allow the granola to cool completely. It will keep for about 2-3 weeks if stored tightly sealed in a plastic container or glass jar. Tip: The granola tastes particularly good with yogurt and fruit.
