- 3 egg whites
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 300 g walnuts
- ½ tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Sift the powdered sugar over the mixture, add the vanilla sugar, and stir in. Fold in the coarsely chopped walnuts. Preheat oven to 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit). Using two teaspoons, place small heaps of walnut macaroons onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the walnut macaroons for about 40 minutes. Once cooled, store in a tin.
