Walnut – Nougat – Kisses

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 120 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 70 g sugar
  • 100 g nougat mass
  • 150 g dark chocolate coating
  • 46 walnuts (quarters)

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Combine flour, spices, and baking powder. Add butter, sugar, and egg, and knead. Form into two logs (approx. 3 cm in diameter) and chill for 1 hour. Cut the nougat into approximately 46 small cubes. Cut the dough logs into approximately 1 cm wide slices. Place one nougat cube in the center of each log and form into a ball. Preheat oven to approximately 200°C and bake for approximately 10 minutes. Let cool, then dip the top into the melted chocolate coating. Immediately place a walnut quarter on top.
