warm apple vinaigrette

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 apples, firm, sour, cut into small cubes
  • 1 handful of walnuts, chopped
  • Olive oil or nut oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Lightly roast the chopped walnuts in oil, being careful not to overcook them. Add the apple pieces and sauté them while stirring (they shouldn’t become too soft, but should still retain some bite). Deglaze with a dash of balsamic vinegar and simmer gently. Season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Delicious with lamb’s lettuce, for example, in combination with roasted chicken strips.
